Types of Orthodontic Appliances
Some smiles need a little extra help! In cases where the jaws are too narrow to accommodate all teeth, or there is a severe malocclusion (bite misalignment), Dr. Bolin may include an orthodontic appliance in your personalized treatment plan.

Surgical Orthodontics
Once the jaw bones have stabilized and clear aligners or braces would not be a sufficient treatment method on their own, jaw surgery may be necessary. Corrective jaw surgery is performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, typically in a hospital setting.
If you or your child requires jaw surgery, we’ll guide you through the entire process—from your consultation to the surgery and through post-surgery treatment.
